The Swim Smart Personal Coaching Program gives swimmers of all levels the chance to work one-on-one with a highly skilled and experienced competitive swim coach.  Your coach will discuss and review any concerns you have regarding your performance and will provide analysis and solutions that will help you achieve your peak performance. Sessions may include above and/or underwater video review, along with a plan of action to maintain performance.

Swim Smart Personal Coaching sessions are open to all SJAC members as well as the general public. 

COACH BIOGRAPHY

Corey swam competitively in Washington state for 10 years. Achievements include multiple team records, state qualifier all 4 years of high school, and the Big 9 districts champion. His strengths early on were distance freestyle and breaststroke, and then he transitioned into butterfly and sprint freestyle.  He relied heavily on stroke technique to compete at his level and believes that technique is extremely crucial in competitive or aerobic swimming in order to gain speed, power and reduce risk for injury. He fell in love with coaching right out of high school and started coaching competitive teams in Tri Cities, Washington, moved on to the position of assistant coach for a high school team in Kennewick, Washington and coached a Masters swimming group.
